Terms of Use

By downloading or using Cardivo you agree to these Terms of Use and the Cardivo Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. Not medical advice

Cardivo is not a medical device and is not FDA-cleared or CE-marked as a medical device. Readings, journal values (including blood sugar you enter), Apple Health values shown in the app, and weekly insight / “AI summary” text are for general wellness and fitness awareness only. They are not for diagnosis, treatment, cure, monitoring of disease, or emergencies. Always seek a qualified clinician for health decisions. If you need emergency help, contact emergency services.

2. The app

Cardivo may let you:

Estimate heart rate and related wellness vitals with the camera
Keep a journal (mood, notes, optional vitals, optional blood sugar you type in)
View charts and health plans
Use widgets
Optionally connect Apple Health (HealthKit)
Optionally sync Cardivo data with our cloud when you use an account session
View on-device weekly insights labeled “AI summary”

You must be at least 16 years old.

3. Accounts and data

You may use Cardivo as a guest or sign in with Apple or Google. Keep your device and credentials secure.

When you use an account session, Cardivo may sync profile, measurements, and journal data to our service providers (including Google Firebase) as described in the Privacy Policy. By using those features you authorize that sync.

Weekly “AI summary” insights are generated on your device from your Cardivo data. Cardivo does not send your personal or health content to a third-party generative AI provider for that feature. If that ever changes, we will disclose it, identify the recipient, and obtain your permission before sending, as required by Apple’s App Store guidelines and our Privacy Policy.

Apple Health: Cardivo accesses HealthKit only after you grant permission, only for allowed data types, and only for wellness/fitness features. You can revoke access in iOS Settings. HealthKit data is not sold and is not used for advertising.

4. Cardivo Pro

Free use includes one successful camera measurement per day. A failed or cancelled measurement does not use it. The next day includes one new measurement. Cardivo Pro removes that limit and unlocks health plans, anxiety and depression check-ins, age comparison, cardiovascular wellness score, deeper weekly insights, blood-sugar logging, the PDF health report, and Home Screen widgets. Apple Health sync and history/charts remain available without Pro. Cardivo Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription billed by Apple. Manage or cancel in your Apple ID subscription settings. Refunds follow Apple’s rules except where local law requires otherwise.

5. Acceptable use

Do not misuse Cardivo, attempt to disrupt the service, reverse engineer except where allowed by law, or use Cardivo as a substitute for professional medical care. Do not upload unlawful content in journal notes.

6. Intellectual property

Cardivo, its branding, and software are owned by us or our licensors. You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app as permitted by the App Store and these Terms.

7. Liability

Cardivo is provided “as available.” We do not promise that readings or insights are exact or complete. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the app. Rights you cannot waive under consumer law still apply.

8. Changes

We may update Cardivo or these Terms. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, stop using Cardivo and cancel any subscription.
